A set of these table mats make a wonderful gift. They are fun and simple to make—an ideal starting project for beginners. You can easily complete one in a day and have the rest cut out to complete at home.
I have felt for a long time that these paints are an under-used resource. This day will allow you to experiment with them and discover their rich potential. We will make colour swatches using different fabrics In the morning and in the afternoon print a design ready for stitching.
Using traditional heraldic images we will make a set of three tiles which can be mounted together or separately. By combining stenciling, quilting, appliqué and other decorative techniques to simulate 'age' these tiles become mini works of art.
Most years we end the season with a dying day, keeping fingers crossed for good weather. This year is no different. I’ve just changed the name! A chance for you to replenish your stock of hand dyed fabric (with instruction if needed) for the sewing year ahead.
Choose an image that appeals to you. We will photo it onto fabric for you to embroider and then make into a calendar. Make lovely stocking fillers.
Enjoy a day of sewing decorations for Christmas. The date of this course leaves you plenty of time to make a lot in time for the festival season.
Exceptionally pretty stitched flowers in a variety of shapes that make lovely lasting arrangements. I still have mine from 2011.
These handy bags are a joy to make and can easily be completed in a day. Excellent for last minute Christmas presents or indeed ‘wrapping’ items. That are awkward shapes!

Start saving your tomato paste tubes now. This flower can be made in a day from eight of them, or you can purchase especially produced shim.. Either way this is great fun and your finished piece can be used indoors or out.
